students. Beginning with John Dewey’s “hidden curriculum” and
including Kohlberg’s acknowledgement of the importance of the moral
atmosphere of the school, developmentalists have recognized

Describe the moral atmosphere
of your junior high and high school. Were there any overt attempts
made to teach morality and encourage students to develop their
